We have a client that has a telkom line ISDN BRA single number used for calling out for alarm system.
If we port the telkom number to a new voip provider will they still be able to dial out from that number after port has been done successful ?
Kindly confirm with your alarm service provider.
If porting the number will not affect the alarm, then the number can port.
If it does, you will not be able to port your number.
If the number is ported, you will not be able to dial out from your Telkom phone as the number is no longer with Telkom.
