I've tried to setup an ALCATEL IP1020 with freshphone and from what I can tell it works exactly like a Yaelink phone with a base station. I can make and receive calls but I can't hear anything the other person is saying. There is complete silence on the other end of the line both for me and the caller. I've got all the codecs and I can switch them on and off from within the web broswer. 

What is the problem ? anyone ?

solved ... I found out through trial and error that the transport packages had to be set to TLS. Alcatel seems to work fine with freshphone except for the time server issue I ran into. Which I resolved by using an external time server other than freshphones time server
