Liquid error: undefined method `name' for nil:NilClass
I ported my Telkom number, and it shows in the DID Manager panel,
I can call from it, and if I call the number on my mobile, it works. But if someone from a Telkom line calls, there is no response/ not available. (the phone don't ring on this side)
The specific number that you ported to us should be cancelled automatically, but that being said, you should still make sure with Telkom as they have been known to carry on billing on the odd occasion

Will they automatically cancel my Telkom account then, or must I still go through their process?

Telkom have advised they have updated the routing on their side, please could you test your number again and let me know if there are still any issues.
Sorry for the delay in response, we have already escalated this to our porting department who is in tern taking it up with Telkom, it seems that calling from Vodacom is fine so we believe its just a few Telkom exchanges which need to update their routing.
We will post more info once resolved.
