Snom M9

Hi All,


a problem i had on Snom M9 with a single account. Would not register, 

i changed the SIP registrar to IP 41.221.5.251 instead of DNS name sip1.freshphone.co.za and it works.

tried fowarding to my mobile from TMS dashboard and the call routes, must be a SNOM ,Switch or Router config.

How has the testing gone?

Tested with zoiper and can make and receive. On snom m9 can make but get busy tones inbound If I forward from TMS I get inbound calls Really want the m9 to work, it worked with MWeb talk SIP in and out? Any thoughts?

I hope you are well. There could be a setting on the device that needs to be configured correctly. Please take screenshots of the setup page for the Snom device so I can confirm the correct fields have the relevant information.

I hope you are well. Please see the screenshot below. The main audio codec needs to be set to G729. Please make the change and test.

Please follow the steps below. I would recommend resetting the phone to factory and reconfiguring the device following the steps. 


Match your settings and configurations to the below screen grab - 


Check all of the settings marked in Green 



Registrar - can be sip1.freshphone.co.za or 41.221.5.251


Look out for this setting - Support Broken Registrar - This needs to be enabled as seen below:
