I battled to get my Vox Supafone (Apparently the same as same
as the Gigaset A580) to register, but got it to work with these settings. The settings are in the same order as the Telephony setup on the Vox Supafone.
My Vox Supafone has this firmware installed.
Firmware version: 022260000000

This will probably also work for other VoIP providers, just substitute
the username, password and registration information with the other VoIP
provider’s information.

Have you tried factory resetting the device before you attempt to set it up? or upgrading the firmware of the devices?
Perhaps the device has a setting blocking the connection.
You can also perform ping test from a computer connected to the same internet source to see if you are able to reach our servers.
you might have a firewall setting blocking the connection.

Which phone do you have? A510 or A580?
Try freshphone.co.za instead of sip1.freshphone.co.za for the domain.
Make sure you've got the right proxy server option set to sip1.freshphone.co.za, my phone has two proxy server entries, the one needs to be set to sip1.freshphone.co.za and the other needs to be blank.
Registration sometimes doesn't work immediately. It might take a minute or two for the phone to register.
Make sure that your router allows inbound and outbound port 5060 for TCP and UDP.

Hi
I have a Gigaset A510IP (42.243 (422430000000 / V42.00) phone system connected directly to the Apple Airport Extreme (7.6.9) which I'm using as my fibre router. The Firmware on all devices are up to date. The A510IP registers properly and I can make outgoing calls.
The system however does not receive any calls. When the number is dialled it just gives an engaged signal.
I've gone through all the settings a few times and can't seem to resolve the problem.
Please assist?
Thanks

HI
I have a Gigaset A540IP with Afrihost as my isp and openserve as my fibre provider. I have tried the settings above and some of the suggestions on "Afrihost Fibre - FreshPhone Account Registration Failed - POSSIBLE FIX" however the A540IP does not allow me to enter the colon ":" after the server or proxy server names.
I have setup port forwarding for port 5060 on the router a AC1200 wi fi gigabit router. But so far I do not have any success.
Can you please provide some assistance.
